How long will this course take to complete?
The average time to complete this course properly is about 35 hours.
How comprehensive is this course?
It covers nearly all aspects of management and leadership as it pertains to leading a paranormal research group. The concepts in this course have been taught to over 10,000 managers, leaders, CEO's, and others by the author. This is a complete leadership course that you will even benefit from in your secular work.
Is an instructor available if I need help?
Yes! Once you have purchased the course, you will be added to the Course Page on ParaNexus Academy. This Course Page contains the digital download version, appendices, and audios presented in the course pages. In addition, help is available from the author directly.
Can't I just do my own online research and learn the same information?
No. This course includes proprietary leadership concepts not available anywhere else,
What is the final exam like?
Because this is a serious and comprehensive leadership course, the exam is also serious and comprehensive. The final exam is taken online (see example on right), and is open book (how could we enforce a closed book exam?). It involves 100 multiple-choice and true/false questions. Passing score is 90% or higher. If you fail the first time, you can re-take it up to two additional times (for a maximum of three times total; additional retakes after three are $10 each). As an optional part of the final exam, you will write a 1,000 word essay suitable for publication in ParaNexus' journals and newsletters. We encourage our students to complete the essay. As an incentive, you will receive a 6 month ParaNexus membership or membership extension. Yes our standards are high, but we want to provide all graduates with a basis to be proud of their accomplishment, and we want to set a high standard in the field.
What does the certification mean?
Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive your Certificate of Completion, ID card, and ID Badge via email, which you can then print out and frame. You will then earn a Certified Leading Paranormal Investigator (CLPI) designation from ParaNexus which certifies that you have completed a comprehensive course on leadership and management, and have demonstrated competence in leading a research team. If you have completed the ParaNexus CPI Course, you may then add the “CLPI” designation after your name. If you have not completed the CPI Course, you may use the designation, Certified Leading Professional (CLP). This may be upgraded once the CPI Course is taken. Additionally, only CPI graduates will receive an ID Badge and Card via email. All students receive a Certificate.
Is this course accredited?
This course is accredited through the ParaNexus Academy. Accreditation is in accordance with the guidelines set forth by The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Accreditation adds to the credibility, professionalism, and respectability of the student who successfully passes this course.
3.5 CEU’s are awarded to students who successfully complete this course with a passing score. Please Note: Continuing Education Credit (CEU) approval is at the discretion of your academic institution or licensing board; not all educational courses are approved by all institutions and boards, which is common in the academic world. An official permanent transcript of your successful completion of this course is included with your certificate. To replace a lost copy, send your request to admin@ParaNexus.org and include your full name, the date in which you completed the course, and the email or regular mail address of the recipient.
Can all of my team members get certified if I purchase only one course?
No, each person must enroll in (purchase) the course if they want to become certified. This is no different than colleges who won't allow several people to get a degree by a single person enrolling.
Do you offer discounts for ParaNexus members?
We have lowered the tuition for this course significantly which precludes us from offering further discounts. However, members with current paid accounts will receive a 3 month extension to their memberships which equals a $10 discount.
