If you have an interesting paranormal-related or personal growth topic you want to teach, we are always looking for qualified and competent instructors! In addition to the satisfaction you receive from teaching a course, you also get paid for your efforts!

What We Look for in Course Topics

We are looking for topics that are related to paranormal research in some way and have substantive content. This is actually a rather broad field with many topic possibilities. Here are some potential subject areas that are relevant:

  • Research Techniques including new approaches.

  • Technology and equipment use.

  • General information relevant to research in related fields such as parapsychology, ufology, cryptozoology, hauntings, etc.

  • How To's on a variety of topics such as protocols, best practices, evidence review and analysis, client interaction, coaching, etc.

  • Philosophical and psychological issues related to paranormal research.

  • Team related topics such as starting a group, managing a group, building a website, doing radio/TV interviews, doing a radio show, etc.

  • Metaphysical, philosophical, and spirituality related topics including psychic development, Reiki, tarot cards, past lives, astral projection, etc.

  • Personal growth and life-skill topics such as personal empowerment, relationships, interpersonal skills, effective communication techniques, etc.

  • Alien abductions and related phenomena including research approaches such as hypnotic regression.

  • And much more.

Our goal is to offer quality and affordable continuing education that will help students to become better as researchers, human beings, and in life in general.

What We Look for in Course Instructors

Course Instructors must have an active ParaNexus membership, be preferably CPI certified, and have a PayPal account. Since we want to become known for quality, affordable training in the paranormal field, we look for the following traits and qualifications in our instructors:

  • Experienced and knowledgeable in the specific topic area (the more specific experience, the better). Just because a person has several years of paranormal research experience doesn't necessarily mean he/she will be a competent instructor. We want instructors who have a burning message to share that's relevant to the field and has meaning for others.

  • Substantive content. Your course material must be something of substance and value.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The best teachers are the best communicators and have the best people skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills. Instructors must have the ability to organize a course so that it is coherent and easy for students to grasp.

  • Excellent computer skills. All courses are conducted online by way of written assignments, reading assignments, discussion groups, chat sessions, multimedia presentations, quizzes, journals, and online webinars with video capability.

  • Fresh thinkers with new ideas and concepts to share. If we are to make inroads in understanding anomalous events, we need to evolve in our perspective and approach. We are most interested in "new school" rather than "old school" approaches and techniques. For example, we will not offer any courses on "ghost hunting" because that topic is for hobbyists who haven't yet learned that professional researchers don't "hunt" ghosts anymore than they would "hunt" people. However, "How to Be a Paranormal Researcher" is great.

  • We prefer instructors who have attained their CPI Certification, but this is not a requirement at this time. CPI certified instructors are typically given preference over non-certified instructors when course topics are the same or significantly overlap.

What if the Course I Want to Teach is Already Being Taught by Another Instructor?

You have a couple of options. One is to wait until the current class is finished. If the current instructor is not going to repeat the course in the subsequent 3 months, you may still be able to offer your course. Another option is to make the focus of your course on a related topic. You may still have some overlap with the other course, but it should not be substantial. In other words, you cannot teach essentially the same course as someone else at the same time even if the course title is different. The content must also be substantially different. ParaNexus Academy always reserves the right to choose a specific instructor for a specific topic at any time.

Promoting Your Course

The more students who enroll in your course, the better. Therefore, ParaNexus Academy will promote your course along with all current courses in the weekly newsletter as well as on this website. However, you are in the best position to promote your course by letting your friends, team members, and others know. The success of your course is a joint effort.
